Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
- Acute care experience considered a plus

- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other impairments
- Conduct evaluations to identify communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Design and deliver evidence-based therapies to improve patient function and quality of life
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and physical therapists
- Document patient progress accurately and timely
- Engage patients and families in therapy goals and education
