Speech Pathology | Maryville, Missouri
Provide expert speech-language therapy services for patients experiencing communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders in a clinical setting. This contract role involves comprehensive patient evaluations, development, and implementation of tailored treatment plans, and thorough documentation while collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct standardized assessments and evidence-based interventions to diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Monitor patient progress, modify therapy accordingly, and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, interdisciplinary team members, patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and progress.
- Prepare detailed discharge summaries and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in relevant meetings, trainings, and in-services to stay current with clinical best practices.
- Obtain necessary equipment and supplies as needed for patient care.
- Provide supervision and support to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Student Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Adhere to ASHA guidelines and state licensure requirements, maintaining ethical and professional standards.

- Active ASHA certification and State Licensure.
- Experience in hospital or rehabilitation settings preferred.
