A Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to deliver specialized speech therapy services within a home health setting. This role involves direct patient care and close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive plans of care for patients. The focus is on improving communication skills and enhancing the quality of life for clients served by the agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech-language therapy treatments to home health patients.
- Assess and evaluate patient communication abilities and develop tailored care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Document patient progress and therapy outcomes accurately and timely.
- Participate in orientation and adhere to agency policies and procedures.
- Commit to working during specified holiday coverage periods as required.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid and current licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience providing speech therapy in hospital or home health settings preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work during holiday periods and occasionally adjust schedules as needed.

Additional Details:
- Job Type: Contract, with specific scheduling and holiday coverage requirements.
- Non-billable orientation of 8 hours is expected.
- Overtime and holiday work compensated at 1.25 times the regular rate.
- This opportunity requires providing services in patients’ homes rather than in a clinical facility.
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the location are typically not considered to ensure travel compliance.
