Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions across outpatient, inpatient, and rehabilitation units.
  • Maintain accurate and prompt documentation in compliance with facility standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and families to support ongoing communication and swallowing improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Idaho Speech Language Pathologist license is required.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification must be current.
  • Minimum of two years’ recent experience as an SLP in a rehabilitation or acute rehabilitation unit (ARU) setting.
  • Proficiency in relevant electronic medical records systems.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with rotating Saturdays.
