This contract role involves evaluating and treating patients with communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Idaho Speech-Language Pathologist license (must be attached)
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (must be attached)
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an SLP in a rehabilitation or Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with communication and swallowing disorders
- Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to patient needs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and support family education
- Provide coverage on rotating Saturday shifts in the ARU, Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Rotating Saturdays to cover ARU services
