Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat patients with various diagnoses in an acute care setting.
  • Utilize evidence-based practice to guide clinical decision-making.
  • Participate in departmental programs and quality initiatives.
  • Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams as appropriate.
  • Maintain productivity standards and prioritize patient care efficiently.
  • Potential supervision of students when available.
  • Adhere strictly to ethical and regulatory guidelines.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Speech-Language Pathology certification (CCC-SLP) required.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Maryland (pending licenses considered).
  • Experience in acute care preferred, ASHA certification is a plus.
  • Open to candidates with a minimum of one year of experience.
  • Comfortable working 1:1 with patients.
  • Ability to work a day shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
  • Willingness to cover approximately one weekend per month.
