Schedule
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Thursday: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and treat pediatric patients with speech, language development delays, autism, apraxia, and articulation disorders.
- Use both standardized and non-standardized evaluation methods.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately and timely.
- Provide education and support to patients and caregivers, including those from Spanish-speaking families utilizing available interpreter services.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and maintain professional competence through ongoing education.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Valid Ohio state license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or a conditional license under an approved Professional Experience Plan.
- Minimum of 1 year pediatric SLP experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
- Training in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) or VitalStim is a plus.
