Speech & Language Pathology - Fort Myers, Florida

Schedule
- 8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Weekend day shifts required
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and swallowing evaluations, including modified barium swallow studies
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on acute care rehabilitation needs
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system (Epic) in compliance with facility protocols and standards
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements within a smoke-free facility environment
Qualifications and Experience
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Florida (license must be active and profile verified)
- Minimum 3 years of acute care experience, including performing modified barium swallow studies
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR documentation
- Compliance with radius and demographic requirements on candidate profile to be eligible for consideration
