The position requires floating between inpatient rehab and acute care, offering a diverse clinical experience in therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in acute and rehab settings
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner electronic health records
- Participate in weekend call rotation, including every other Saturday and on-call Sundays
- Flex off days scheduled around weekend commitments with management coordination
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Must hold a current state license and CCC-SLP certification (pending licenses are acceptable before start date; temporary licenses are not)
- BLS certification required
- First-time clinicians are encouraged to apply
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local applicants will not qualify
- Comfortable with weekend and holiday shifts, holiday work is optional and compensated at time and a half
