Speech Language Pathology (SLP) | Ewa Beach, Hawaii
This opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist with expertise in inpatient acute care and MBSS certification seeking a contract role. The position offers a part-time schedule totaling 20 hours per week, distributed across Monday (7 hours), Tuesday (6 hours), and Friday (7 hours). Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient acute care settings
- Current MBSS (Modified Barium Swallow Study) certification
- Strong clinical assessment and therapy skills specific to speech-language pathology in acute care
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities within multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and swallowing assessments using MBSS protocols
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Work closely with medical teams to monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
- Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly according to clinical standards
