Schedule/Hours:
- 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Rotating weekends
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess patients’ needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and therapists to optimize patient care.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Proven experience delivering speech therapy services within an acute care or hospital environment.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques for a variety of communication and swallowing disorders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple patients efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
