Required Qualifications
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred; mentorship available for those with limited SNF exposure
- Strong documentation skills with attention to detail
- Effective time-management abilities
- Flexibility and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to float to a sister facility within walking distance, as needed
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and treatments for SNF patients
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure holistic patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Net Health or similar electronic medical record systems
- Adapt to varying patient needs and facility protocols
