Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
- Provide therapeutic interventions across outpatient, inpatient, and rehabilitation units.
- Maintain accurate and prompt documentation in compliance with facility standards.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and families to support ongoing communication and swallowing improvements.
Qualifications:
- Idaho Speech Language Pathologist license is required.
- American Heart Association BLS certification must be current.
- Minimum of two years’ recent experience as an SLP in a rehabilitation or acute rehabilitation unit (ARU) setting.
- Proficiency in relevant electronic medical records systems.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with rotating Saturdays.
