The assignment is travel-based, located in the Prestonsburg, KY area, with a primary work location within an established 340-bed medical center approximately 75 miles from Prestonsburg.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations and treatments to patients in a hospital setting
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic charting system
- Adapt to fluctuating workloads and manage change professionally and efficiently
- Adhere to facility standards, including wearing designated navy blue scrubs
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and current Speech Language Pathologist licensure
- Experience working in hospital or acute care therapy environments preferred
- Proficient in Epic electronic health records for charting and documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- COVID-19 vaccination required except for approved medical or religious exemptions (weekly PCR testing required for exempt travelers)
Schedule and Contract Details:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Work schedule consists of 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
