Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Edison, NJ

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate swallowing, communication, and cognitive abilities.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and physicians to develop and revise individualized plans of care.
• Implement therapy programs including safe swallowing techniques, cognitive training, and therapeutic exercises.
• Maintain safe environments through risk assessments and adherence to infection control protocols.
• Document patient progress and education, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary communication and participate in team meetings to optimize patient outcomes.
• Manage case documentation and adhere to scheduling requirements for home visits.
• Utilize personal vehicle to travel to patient homes and facilities as required.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current licensure.
• Experience in hospital and home care therapy settings preferred.
