Speech Pathologist - Lawrenceville, GA
An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized therapy services at a dedicated inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital in Lawrenceville, GA. This contract position offers engagement with a state-of-the-art, 40-bed facility focused on the recovery and treatment of patients facing severe injuries or illnesses.
The successful candidate will have experience in neuro or inpatient rehabilitation, delivering individualized treatment plans for conditions such as stroke, brain injury, neurological disorders, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries. Working with a diverse adult and geriatric patient population, you will contribute to maximizing health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide treatment for neuro, orthopedic, and geriatric patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams using advanced rehabilitation equipment and technologies
- Participate in day and weekend rotations with 40 guaranteed weekly hours and no call requirements
- Utilize EPIC and Rehab Connect electronic health records for documentation
- Maintain professional licensure in Georgia and adhere to facility standards
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensed in Georgia with a minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Preference for candidates experienced in neuro or inpatient rehab settings and familiar with GG Quality Indicators
- Effective communication skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude
