Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license (Kentucky license preferred; pending license not accepted)
- 2-3 years of experience preferred, open to new graduates
- Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Study preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently in various care settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team collaboration
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No weekends or on-call requirements
- Open to accommodating block schedules
- Position based in Georgetown, Kentucky
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology assessments and treatments to adult and pediatric patients
- Manage caseload with a 1:1 patient ratio ensuring personalized quality care
- Float between outpatient rehabilitation and acute care departments as assigned
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document all patient interactions accurately and timely
