Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services primarily to pediatric outpatient clients (approximately 85%) and partly to adult outpatient and adult acute care patients (15%).
- Maintain a daily caseload of 12-14 patients, ensuring thorough evaluation, treatment, and documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within a Level IV trauma teaching hospital environment.
- Manage documentation through Cerner electronic health records.
- Comply with BLS protocols and maintain certification throughout employment.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of one year clinical experience; first-time practitioners are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to manage 40 hours per week on a 5x8 schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday in Cottonwood (adult and pediatric patients); Tuesday and Thursday in Sedona (adult patients).
- Ability to follow hospital guidelines including approval from the Unit Manager for return to work and flexible scheduling needs.
