This role requires 3 years of experience and expertise in adult acute care settings, including proficiency with Modified Barium Swallow Studies and Videofluoroscopic Swallow Studies (VFSS). The position offers 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with weekend coverage required.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a Florida license
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in adult acute care/hospital settings
  • Proficient in Modified Barium Swallow Studies and VFSS
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Experience with Epic electronic medical record system preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services in an acute care rehab environment
  • Conduct Modified Barium Swallow Studies and interpret results accurately
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Maintain documentation and compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards

Additional Details:

  • Schedule: 8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 5:30 PM), including some weekend days
  • Smoke-free facility
  • Radius rule enforced within 50 miles
