Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for patients in hospital settings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing functions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Document patient progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary
- Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and progress
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure with experience in hospital therapy services
- Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to inpatient and acute care populations
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently while maintaining quality care
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position with guaranteed minimum hours biweekly
- Flexibility in scheduling based on assignment requirements
This contract role guarantees 72 hours biweekly, excluding any on-call hours worked, allowing for predictable income and scheduling stability. Employment is through a contracting arrangement that provides an excellent platform for showcasing your expertise in a reputable hospital environment.
