Speech Therapist in Belleview, FL
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in an acute care hospital setting, delivering expert treatment to patients with communication and swallowing disorders. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers and families.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and professional standards in acute care.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in acute care.
- Licensed to practice as an SLP in Florida.
- Possession of BLS certification through AHA.
- Strong clinical skills applicable to hospital-based acute care environments.
