Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (current and in good standing)
- Graduate of an accredited SLP program
- Hospital or inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Valid CPR certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and related healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Provide education and resources to patients and their families regarding therapeutic processes and home exercises
- Maintain accurate up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with facility guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Participate in department meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
