Vocovision is seeking a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services for students in an amazing district in Virginia.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- ASHA CCCs

Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Virginia.

Knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and professionals.

Ability to manage caseloads and work independently.
As a Virtual SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with communication and swallowing disorders in a virtual school environment. You will work with a diverse range of students, utilizing teletherapy technology to deliver therapy services remotely. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities through online platforms.

Developing personalized treatment plans based on assessment results and student goals.

Providing virtual therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategies.

Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support integrated treatment plans.

Monitoring student progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Educating students, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies for carryover outside of therapy sessions.

Maintaining accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
