Job Description:
Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Washington looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students? We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Telehealth Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team and provide school-based services through remote, virtual platforms.
Position: Telehealth Speech-Language Pathologist (1099)
Location: Remote (working with schools nationwide)
Responsibilities:

Assessment and Evaluation:
- Conduct virtual assessments to identify and evaluate students' speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with school staff to gather relevant information for comprehensive evaluations.

Individualized Treatment Planning:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Provide targeted speech and language interventions using evidence-based practices.

Teletherapy Sessions:
- Conduct virtual therapy sessions with students, utilizing telehealth technology and interactive tools.
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.

Collaboration with School Teams:
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and other relevant school staff to coordinate services.
- Participate in virtual Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed.

Professional Development:
- Stay current with the latest research, technology, and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, progress reports, and other required documentation.
- Generate timely reports for parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA certification and Washington state licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience in providing telehealth services.
- Familiarity with virtual platforms and teletherapy tools.
