Position Available: School-Based Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for 2024-2025 School Year
Location: Parachute, CO
Company: ProCare Therapy is thrilled to collaborate with a renowned school district in Parachute, CO, in the search for a dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming academic year.
Position Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported in their communication development.
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to assess students' progress and provide feedback for instructional adjustments.
- Support the implementation of diverse teaching methods and resources to meet the unique learning needs of students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
- State certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with a variety of teaching strategies, assistive technologies, and accommodations.
- Experience working with students with diverse communication needs and abilities.
