San Luis Coastal Unified School District, located in San Luis Obispo, CA, is currently seeking a dedicated Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year. Position Overview:
We are seeking a part-time Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with our elementary students at San Luis Coastal Unified School District. The SLP will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, providing direct speech and language services to students, and collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment and make a meaningful impact on our students' communication skills and academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct speech and language services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- California state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Requirements:
- Part-time availability (2-3 days per week, 21 hours per week)
- Must be willing to work with an elementary caseload
- Must send credentials to Saire Davis
