Part-Time School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - K-12 Caseload (Onsite)
Location: Dunmore, PA
Hours: Part-time, 16 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:45 AM - 12:45 PM (Note: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM on June 27th)
Start Date: July 1st, 2024
Training Date: June 27th, 2024 (Mandatory)
About the Position:
We are seeking a motivated and qualified part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and support students in a K-12 school setting. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students while working a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language screenings and evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech-language impairments.
- Provide individual and/or group therapy to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and parents.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Pennsylvania.
- Ability to obtain/complete required PA clearances (Fingerprint Clearance, Child Abuse History Clearance).
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using computer software for documentation and data collection.
