Speech Therapist Vacancy in Hermiston, Oregon
Hermiston, OR
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a talented Speech Therapist for a school-based position based in Hermiston, Oregon. This is a K-12th grade caseload of about 50-60 students. Candidate will provide regular parent communication/updates, update IEP progress reports, complete evals as needed, and add input on PLAAFP.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop IEP plans for students based on individual goals. This includes setting achievable goals and using the proper therapy techniques for each individual student’s needs.
- Provide direct therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques
- Monitor student’s progress and update as required
- Participate in IEP meetings and give recommendations and trainings as needed to parents
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Active Oregon state license
- Prior experience working in schools is preferred but not required
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
