ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Halifax, NC. This full-time position offers competitive hourly pay, benefits, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' speech and language development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in providing speech therapy services to students.
- Implement therapy plans and activities under the supervision of the SLP.
- Work with individual students or small groups to support their speech and language goals.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate therapy activities into the classroom.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation in therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- North Carolina state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Previous experience working with children or in a school setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
