We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school-based team in Seattle, Washington. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with students in a supportive and dynamic school environment, assisting Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering speech and language services.
Job Details:
- Assist in implementing speech and language treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Conduct therapy sessions with students individually or in groups.
- Document student progress and update records regularly.
- Provide support for students with speech, language, and communication difficulties.
- Participate in team meetings, collaborate with teachers, and provide feedback on student progress.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Washington state SLPA certification or eligibility.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred.
