Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Ontario, California
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students' communication needs
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of the Speech-Language Pathologist to address speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Assist in monitoring progress and adjusting intervention strategies as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or related field
- California SLPA license or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
