Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work with elementary students with diverse communication needs near Baytown, Texas. This position involves providing individualized speech and language services, collaborating with educational teams, and supporting students' communication goals in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students with various needs under the guidance of an SLP.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ communication challenges.
- Support classroom activities and work closely with teachers to integrate speech strategies into daily lessons.
- Track and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with parents and school staff to ensure holistic support for each student’s development.
- Maintain detailed records in line with school and district policies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
- Valid Texas SLP or SLPA license.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, especially those with multiple communication needs, is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
