Position: Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: Northwest Massachusetts
Join our dynamic and supportive team as a School-based Speech-Language Pathologist in the breathtaking Northwest region of Massachusetts. We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic SLP to work with our diverse student population and contribute to their academic and social success.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language disorders and delays
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Monitoring and documenting student progress and providing regular reports to parents and educational staff
- Participating in team meetings, including IEP meetings, to discuss student progress and goals
- Staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility for certification
- Massachusetts state licensure or ability to obtain licensure
- Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not mandatory
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
