Soliant is currently in search of an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our vibrant school-based team. As an SLP with us, you'll have the chance to significantly impact the lives of individuals facing communication and swallowing challenges.
Job Details:
• Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist
• Employment Type: Full-time Contract
• Duration: August 15th to November 4th, 2024
• Location: East Liverpool, OH
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, student objectives, and evidence-based methodologies.
• Administer therapeutic interventions encompassing speech and language therapy, voice modulation, fluency enhancement, and swallowing therapy.
• Employ a diverse array of techniques and approaches to enhance communication proficiency, refine speech articulation, and foster language development.
• Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and fellow professionals to offer guidance and assistance to students dealing with communication challenges.
• Regularly monitor and document progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans and providing ongoing assessment of outcomes.
Qualifications:
• Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Possess a valid and active state licensure or eligibility for SLP licensure.
• Preferred certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Previous experience working with diverse age groups and populations is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrate solid familiarity with assessment tools, therapeutic methodologies, and evidence-based approaches in speech-language pathology.
