Position Overview:
We are excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist in LaFayette, Georgia. This role involves providing expert speech therapy services to students in a supportive school setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet the needs of each student.
- Work collaboratively with school staff and families to support the speech and language development of students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt therapeutic plans accordingly.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay informed about new therapies and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
- Valid Georgia state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with students and staff.
