Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Opening in Rome, GA
Status: Accepting Candidates
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year in Rome, Georgia. This position is open to Clinical Fellows (CFYs), but not to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Job Details:
- Caseload: Typically around 40 students, spanning grades K-12.
- Hours: Full-time, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, following the typical school schedule.
- Setting: In-person, on-site at the school district.
- Previous Experience: We have been a past billing client, offering a familiar and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to support student success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided.
- Participate in IEP meetings and other relevant meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
- Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Passion for working with students and promoting their communication development.
