Soliant Education is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in the scenic community of Cape May, NJ. This is a full-time, contract position designed to address the needs of students within the school district for the 24-25 school year. If you are passionate about helping students overcome challenges to achieve their full potential, we would love to have you on our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, and cognitive-communication disorders in children within the school setting.
- Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) based on student needs and in compliance with district policies.
- Provide individualized and group therapy sessions to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech therapy with educational objectives.
- Keep detailed records of student progress and adapt plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
- Valid California SLP licensure or ability to obtain licensure before the start date.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and parents.
