We are currently seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as an independent contractor. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and make a positive impact on their communication skills.
Position Overview: As a Remote Independent Contractor Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with students in grades K-8, providing assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services to support their speech and language development. This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home or a suitable workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment results.
- Provide virtual therapy sessions to students, addressing speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and progress reports.
- Attend virtual meetings and professional development as required.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Successful completion of a tech screening to ensure proficiency in virtual communication tools.
- A reference from a previous supervisor attesting to your competence and professionalism.
