Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team in Barnesville, Georgia. This flexible role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, providing vital speech therapy services to students within our district. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Design and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of each student.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Regularly document and evaluate student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Engage in continuous professional development to remain current with speech therapy practices.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Georgia.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience in a school setting is advantageous, but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
