School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Contract
Location: Brighton, CO
Pay Range: $43 - $45 an hour
Job Description: Soliant, in partnership with districts in the Brighton, CO area, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based contract position. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with students, teachers, and other professionals to assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for students with communication disorders and delays.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language goals in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and/or 504 plans.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services and interventions in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with educational team members to support the implementation of therapeutic strategies in the classroom and other educational environments.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention plans as needed to facilitate optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders regarding students' progress and needs.
Requirements:
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Colorado state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in school-based speech-language pathology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
