Position Available: Speech Language Pathologist for 2024-2025 School Year
Location: Hillsboro, OR
Company: ProCare Therapy is partnering with a school district in Sandy, OR, to find a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year.
Position Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment to ensure all students feel valued.
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to assess students' progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Utilize diverse teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
- State certification or licensure for school therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with various teaching strategies, assistive technologies, and accommodations.
- Experience working with students of diverse needs and abilities.
