Position Available: Speech Language Pathologist for 2024-2025 School Year
Location: Glendale, AZ
Company: ProCare Therapy, in collaboration with a prominent school district in Glendale, AZ, is actively seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year.
Position Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement tailored individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders, ensuring each student's unique needs are met.
- Cultivate a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere, fostering a sense of belonging and respect among all students.
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and parents to continuously evaluate students' progress and adapt instructional approaches as necessary.
- Employ a diverse range of teaching methodologies and resources to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid state certification or licensure for school-based therapy.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in utilizing a variety of teaching strategies, assistive technologies, and accommodations.
- Prior experience working with students spanning a wide range of needs and abilities.
