ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of educational staffing solutions, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a contract position in Pasco, WA. Position Overview: As a Speech-Language Pathologist with ProCare Therapy, you will play a vital role in providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with communication disorders. You will assess students' speech and language skills, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with school teams to support students' academic and social success. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic educational setting where your expertise and dedication to helping children succeed will be valued and appreciated.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication disorders and support their educational goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups, focusing on areas such as articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social-emotional success.
  • Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust therapy goals and strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessment results, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
  • Stay informed about best practices, research, and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility for certification.
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Washington.
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to support students' communication and academic success.
