Speech language Pathologist or assistant opening in Houston, TX

Soliant Health is partnering with a distinguished school district in Houston, TX, seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, onsite position to support students for the remainder of the school year.
Position Overview:
As an SLP or SLPA with Soliant Health, you'll play a pivotal role in providing speech and language services to students within the educational setting. Whether you're a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist or an Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to assess, diagnose, and implement targeted interventions to enhance students' communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans in accordance with students' needs.
- Deliver therapy sessions and interventions to improve communication abilities.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, evaluations, and treatment plans.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student education plans.
Qualifications:
For SLP:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Pennsylvania state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations is advantageous.
For SLPA:
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
- Texas state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLPA.
- Prior experience in a school environment or with children is beneficial.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
