We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with AAC experience to join a district in Sacramento, CA!
As a school-based SLP, you will have the opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of students by providing comprehensive speech and language services. Join a dynamic and supportive educational community and help shape the communication skills and academic success of our students.
Details:
- District wide position
- 40 hrs/week
- Upcoming school year, full year
- 65-70 on caseload
Requirements:
- Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Possess a valid state licensure in California
- ASHA CCC preferred
- Experience with a variety of AAC
- Proficient knowledge of various speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on students' needs
- Provide therapy services to improve communication and swallowing abilities
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate therapy techniques in the classroom
- Communicate with parents and professionals to monitor students' progress
