Speech Language Pathologist Job 2024-2025
Jacksonville, NC
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Jacksonville, NC. As an integral member of our educational community, you will work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and goals for students
- Providing direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the development of students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- North Carolina state license (or eligibility for licensure) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with school-aged children with various speech and language disorders.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language assessment tools and intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
- Ability to create a supportive and engaging therapy environment for students.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
