Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to support student progress.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Texas SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous.
State-Specific Requirements (Texas):
- Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) SLP License.
- Completion of a clinical fellowship year (CFY) if less than one year of professional experience.
- Familiarity with Texas Education Agency (TEA) regulations related to special education services.
