Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and objectives
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify students' communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective therapy plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Pennsylvania state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
State-Specific Requirements:
- Pennsylvania Department of Education certification as a Speech and Language Impaired (SLI) teacher preferred
- Background check and clearances as required by Pennsylvania state law
