Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Clinton, NC Employment Type: Hourly Contracted Position through Soliant Education Term: 2024-2025 School Year
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to students based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language skills
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to address students' communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student growth
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided
- Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-based activities as required
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- North Carolina state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
