Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students? A district in the Chicago, IL area is seeking a dedicated SLP to join our team for the upcoming school year!
Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist
Caseload: K-12th caseload
Pay Range: $45-55/hr
Start Date: August 2024
Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students' communication needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and interventions.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in educational settings.
- Providing direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.
- Monitoring progress and adjusting intervention plans as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Illinois.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
